When Ty Odle interviewed for a job at Don Ayres in 2007, he didn’t have a background in car sales. Still, he thought the dealership would be a good place to work – and he thought his sales and law enforcement experience might be valuable to the company. Turns out, he was right. Ty landed a job in the Honda sales department, and he’s never looked back. Ty credits sales manager Rick Squires with teaching him how to build on his product knowledge and further develop his sales techniques. “I’ve learned more about sales from Rick than any other person,” Odle says. In addition, Ty says he and his Don Ayres co-workers share similar values – something that’s extremely important as a father of nine. “Everybody’s willing to help each other out,” he says. Overall, Ty has enjoyed his time at Don Ayres.  "This is the first job I've had, where I wasn't constantly looking to move on.  When you find a place that values it's employees, you know they will value their customers.  That's why I like working here."
