This is an excerpt from a letter we received recently:

I would like to express my sincerest gratitude for the exceptional service your company provided. I purchased my 2008 Santa Fe in March 2009. Since then, I have taken it to your service department for routine oil changes.

Four days after my last oil change, my vehicle broke down on the side of I-69. I had the car towed to your service department for inspection. As it turns out, the oil filter was faulty which resulted in an engine block replacement. When my car first broke down I was preparing myself for what I was sure to be a battle. So often you see on television and hear others’ horrible garage experiences. I made the initial call to explain what had occurred expecting to be given the run around. Not only was I treated with the utmost respect, but your service department took ownership of the issue. I was given a complimentary rental to utilize for the three weeks my vehicle was being repaired. Your mechanics discovered the problem and were able to replace my engine. To my amazement, not one dollar of the $4,500 repair charges was passed on to me.

The Don Ayres Service Department not only made the situation right, but you restored my faith in the auto service industry. I am thoroughly impressed with the professional manner in which your staff serviced my vehicle and I truly appreciate it. Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. You can be sure that I will continue to do business with Don Ayres for years to come and will gladly refer all of my friends as well.
