Customer Mailbox (Adam and Cara)

As always, we love to hear from our satisfied customers. Thanks to Adam and Cara, who recently sent this letter about their positive sales experience while shopping for a minivan. Thanks also to everyone who takes the time to keep in touch with us via Facebook, Twitter, email and good ‘ole fashioned snail mail! Keep those letters coming!

Dear Sara Ayres:

After purchasing our 2013 Honda Odyssey on March 23, under the guidance of sales consultant Justin Price, we wanted to be sure that we shared with you our positive experience. My husband and I researched the Toyota Sienna and the Honda Odyssey extensively online and were leaning heavily toward the Toyota Sienna. The Odyssey did not have some of the features that we initially felt were imperative (e.g. smart key/push start) so we entered Don Ayres dealership with the intention of proving to ourselves that we truly wanted a Toyota.

However, our experience with Justin was nothing but positive. His knowledge of all of Honda’s cars, but most importantly all of the information he was able to easily share with us about the Odyssey, outshined our experience at the other car dealership. Justin was personable and informative during our test drive, combining interest in our family and our lives with information about the Odyssey. He answered our questions honestly and easily. Justin was patient and kind to our 6-year-old son. He demonstrated considerable professionalism and was able to highlight the strengths of the Odyssey while not criticizing the Sienna. He clearly was confident in the cars he was selling. Justin’s confidence in Honda resulted in us no longer caring about the smart key/push start feature that initially had us desiring the Toyota Sienna.

We did not purchase a Honda that day and did not feel any pressure from Justin to do so. However, he followed up frequently (but not too frequently) and ultimately called us when he discovered a car on the lot that met all of our needs without the additional amenities that we had expressed not wanting (e.g., DVD player, navigation system, etc.). Justin clearly remembered us and our desires which impressed us, considering the number of customers he sees each day. He found us the perfect car at a price that was impossible to pass up. We absolutely love our choice in minivan and feel that Justin is the reason we are now driving an Odyssey over a Sienna.

We are looking forward to a continued relationship with Justin and Don Ayres Honda as we care for our minivan over the years. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
