Grungy light sockets, be gone!

It’s bound to happen – one of your tail lights goes out and a bad bulb is to blame.

Swapping a light bulb isn’t too tough, but while you’re at it, there’s one more thing you ought to do: clean your light sockets.

That’s right – dirt can build up on light sockets, and over time, this can require more extensive repairs. To prevent this from happening, simply take a small wire brush or a piece of fine steel wool and scrub away any residue that has accumulated on the light socket. Then, install your new light bulb and you’ll be on your way.
