When it comes to choosing motor oil, it’s always best to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. Then, as the miles begin to accumulate (probably near 100,000 miles), you may want to consider a formula designed especially for cars that have gone the distance. These specialized motor oils contain additives that help reduce internal wear and tear – and that’s a great way to give your car the extra care it needs to keep performing its best.
