Today’s tip: Don’t let your engine idle

Put simply, a well-used car needs a break. If you plan to stay put for more than a few seconds, turn off your engine.

Idling is bad for the environment, bad for your engine, and it wastes gas. And yes – every second counts. Contrary to popular belief, idling is much worse than turning your car on and off a few times.

Our challenge to you: next time you’re tempted to inch your way through a fast food drive-thru, turn off your car and walk inside instead!
