Indiana plant to export Civics
It’s no secret that cars sold in the United States are often built oversees. Now, Honda is putting a new spin on things – instead of sending jobs to other countries, the company is sending cars.
Honda announced last week that its plant in Greensburg, Ind., will produce Honda Civic sedans for export. The cars will be sold in Mexico and 22 Latin American and Caribbean countries.
The Greensburg plant, which opened less than a year ago, produces the Civic and the Civic GX.
