Keep teen drivers safe
When teenagers get behind the wheel of a car, many fail to think about the potential dangers they face.
Today, we know that certain factors that put teen drivers at greater risk, including:
- Driving after dark.
- Driving with friends in the car.
- Driving when tired.
- Using drugs or alcohol before driving.
- Distracted driving. This includes texting, talking on the phone, eating, etc.
If you have a teenager, please take a few minutes to discuss this important information. Talk about ways to avoid these situations. Come up with a plan, and you just may avoid a serious accident.
