Keep teen drivers safe

When teenagers get behind the wheel of a car, many fail to think about the potential dangers they face.

Today, we know that certain factors that put teen drivers at greater risk, including:

  • Driving after dark.
  • Driving with friends in the car.
  • Driving when tired.
  • Using drugs or alcohol before driving.
  • Distracted driving. This includes texting, talking on the phone, eating, etc.

If you have a teenager, please take a few minutes to discuss this important information. Talk about ways to avoid these situations. Come up with a plan, and you just may avoid a serious accident.
