Not just a bunch of hot air

When it comes to filling your tires, don’t settle for plain old air. Nitrogen, a non-flammable dry gas, actually works much better! In fact, it will help you:

  • maximize fuel economy
  • extend the life of your tires
  • increase safety and reliability
  • improve handling

Here’s the deal: nitrogen molecules are larger than oxygen molecules, so the gas actually moves around inside a tire at a much slower pace. A tire filled with air will lose 1.5 PSI in less than a month. It will take a nitrogen-filled tire, on the other hand, about three months to lose a comparable amount of pressure.Say yes to a better driving experience. It’s safer and less expensive, too.
