The 2016 Honda Civic Sedan is one coooool car!
The all-new 2016 Civic Sedan is here, and we’re thrilled to report that it definitely lives up to all the hype!
Don Ayres Honda sales and leasing consultant Andy Hitzemann describes the new Civic as modern and sophisticated.
After accompanying customers on a few test drives, Hitzemann says it’s easy to see that the car is far more refined than its predecessors. “It’s a more engaging vehicle to drive now, regardless of which motor you have,” he says. “It’s very spot on.”
The 2016 Civic Sedan LX and EX trims feature a new 158-horsepower, 2.0-liter i-VTEC engine, while the EX-T, EX-L and Touring models are powered by a 174-horsepower, 1.5-liter DOHC TURBO engine.
EPA fuel economy ratings for the 2016 Civic Sedan are 31/41/35 miles per gallon (city/highway/combined) for 2.0-liter models with continuously variable transmission (CVT), and 31/42/35 miles per gallon for 1.5-liter models with CVT.
Hitzemann says the new Civic is a very connected car that will appeal to tech-savvy drivers. “You don’t have to pair your phone at all,” he says. “You simply plug it in.” Additionally, Honda’s clever engineering incorporates a hidden, out-of-the-way cable is tucked neatly behind the gearshift.
