Windshield dings — fix ’em fast!

September 22nd, 2010 by

You’re cruising along the interstate, and all of a sudden, a rock appears from out-of-nowhere and leaves an ugly ding on your windshield.

It’s a fairly common problem, and fortunately, it’s a fairly easy fix.

Contrary to what many people think, you do not have to have your entire windshield replaced. Instead, call a glass repair shop and ask to have any chips and cracks sealed. The entire process is very quick, and it’s an easy way to minimize further damage down the road. (Trust us – a small ding can quickly turn into a large, unsightly crack.)
